All our playgrounds meet the requirements in EN1176 / 77 standards. Therefore, all playgrounds are certified according to EN1176 before they leave Hampus ApS.

To keep the focus on safety on an ongoing production, several of our designers are educated Playground inspectors. We therefore regularly test the play equipment during production, and they are thoroughly checked before they leave our production.

All our play equipment is built from core oak, core robinia and douglas fir treated with lin oil paint. The tools are placed on steel foundations cast in concrete. The woodwork is thus free from soil. Posts of heartwood of robinia, however, are put into soil. Robinia heartwood is in durability class A just like teak.

The final design of the play equipment depends on the trees available for the project and the final design of the products is therefore part of a creative process while the work takes place. This is only to your advantage as it ensures a unique and harmonious result.
